Meurer & Associates has been the District Engineer for East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District (ECCV) from the time the company was founded in 1978. Since that time the District has grown to approximately 51,000 people. ECCV is generally located along Smoky Hill Road east of Parker Road and from Arapahoe Road north to Hampden Avenue. We have worked with ECCV on master planning the design of sewage lift stations, main outfall sewer lines, booster pump stations, over 95 well pump stations as well as overall maintenance programs. Meurer & Associates involvements included master planning, developer project review and infrastructure design. Our infrastructure design is highlighted by the design of almost 100 deep wells, 30 million gallons of storage and over 2 million feet of pipeline for this District.

Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District
Jefferson County, Colorado

Lakehurst has been working with Meurer & Associates since 1978 and was our first district client. Lakehurst currently serves approximately 15,000 people and is located from Wadsworth to Simms and Hampden south to Belleview. Our design coordination and master planning has involved major water system improvements consisting of master meter connections to Denver Water, which allowed the District to abandon three pump stations and a four million gallon reservoir. We work with the District Manager to review videotapes and CDs to identify rehabilitation projects. Annually, we have been providing design for rehabilitation projects using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) or point repairs to resolve any maintenance issues.

Northern Douglas County Water and Sanitation District
Douglas County, Colorado

Northern Douglas County Water and Sanitation District consists of approximately 2,000 single family and commercial customers and is located in Highlands Ranch, south of C-470 in Douglas County, Colorado. Meurer & Associates assists the District in preparation of annual budgets and coordination of day-to-day operations and development of an operation maintenance program in conjunction with the District’s maintenance contractor. The program consists of an inventory of existing facilities including fire hydrants, valve blow offs, air and vacs, as well as seasonal flushing of mains and valve exercising.

South Arapahoe Sanitation District
Centennial, Colorado

South Arapahoe Sanitation District consists of approximately 30,000 people and is located generally between South Broadway and South Holly and East Orchard Road at East County Line Road. It’s primarily residential, but it also includes the Southglenn Mall as well as Arapahoe High School. Meurer & Associates has been the South Arapahoe district engineer since 1978. In addition to approximately 100 miles of sewer line, the District has one sewer lift station.
