Meurer & Associates implemented the construction observation and construction administration services to the District for a master planned community located near South Parker Road and Cottonwood Drive. Work included a sanitary sewer system with 4-inch and 6-inch PVC pipe sewer services and 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch PVC main lines. The water system consists of 12-inch PVC pipe, 16-inch DIP, 16-inch butterfly valves, 30-inch x 16-inch tapping connection, and 12-inch and 8-inch gate valves. The irrigation water system consists of 10-inch DIP. All of the above systems were tested and placed into active services. Meurer & Associates also served as the coordinator between the developer, contractors, and the District.

Crosslands Construction Company
Retail Building at Gateway Park — Stormwater Facility Review

Construction observation and construction administration services were provided to Crosslands Construction Company for a retail-building site in Gateway Park. Work included full-time observation services on the job site for the storm sewer/wastewater facility construction. The contractor installed 15-inch and 12-inch PVC storm sewer, and 4-inch PVC service lines. Meurer & Associates served as the coordinator between Crosslands and the City and County of Denver’s Wastewater Management Division.

Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Lakewood, Colorado

Meurer & Associates administered the construction observation and management services to the City of Lakewood’s Maintenance Operations Department. Work included 8-inch and 12-inch PVC pipe mains, manhole interior lining, service line reconnections, street paving, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveways, landscaping replacement, traffic control, sewage bypass pumping, and abandonment of existing manholes and meter vault structure. Meurer & Associates coordinated with the contractor and the City of Lakewood.

Grant Ranch Utility Improvements
Lakewood, Jefferson County and the City and County of Denver, Colorado

Construction observation and management services were provided to Grant Ranch, a master-planned community located near Belleview and Wadsworth. Work included street paving, curb and gutter work, sidewalk and fence installation, storm sewer installation, decorative entrance pillars, detention ponds, irrigation systems, water quality monitoring, and parks and landscaping. Meurer & Associates also served as a liaison between various developers, the City and County of Denver, the City of Lakewood, and Jefferson County.

Willows Water District
Denver Meter Connections
Centennial, Colorado

Meurer & Associates performed construction management services to the Willows Water District for three new metered water connections to Denver Water. The connections removed a portion of water demand from Denver Water’s Conduit Number 111 along C-470. Services involved part-time field observation, coordination with Arapahoe County and the City of Centennial regarding traffic control, street cuts, compaction testing, asphalt replacement, and hydrostatic testing.
